 Jane
Loftus (right), Owner/Operator of Loftus Foot Care Clinic (LFCC) since
1997, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours
Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor
of Education degree from Queen's University in Kingston.
Jane is a Certified
Kinesiologist, an Orthotic Clinician, and Certified
Compression Hose Fitter.
Jane's specialty is computer designed orthotics. These
prescription, custom made orthotic insoles worn in shoes,
are designed from the patient's dynamic walking pattern
across a computer mat. The computer image of the moving
feet, shows sore pressure spots and muscle imbalances that
can be corrected with prescription orthotics, relieving
foot, knee and back pain.
Loftus Foot Care Clinic has diabetic, arthritic, dress, fashion,
sport, children's, special needs and sandal orthotics.
LFCC
also has several diabetic sock lines, non-constricting,
silver thread and mild compression.
LFCC has Swede-O braces for
ankle, back, knee, leg and upper body support, as well as
walking casts.
Professional Gehwol German foot products are available and
used exclusively at LFCC.
Our
staff includes a full time Orthotic Specialist, a Registered
Practical Diabetic Foot Care Nurse. Cathy
Schulz (left) is a full time customer service office
administrator,
who submits all extended medical insurance claims for
Orthotics, Workplace Safety
Insurance Board
(WSIB) claims, Motor Vehicle
Accident (MVA) claims, as well as submits for compression
hose and braces on behalf of our clients.
